How to Reach the Site

Email is the only channel: hello@onlineslopecalculator.com. There is no contact form, because a form here would mean collecting and storing what you type on a server, and theprivacy page makes a fairly specific promise that nothing of the kind happens. Your own mail client keeps its own copy and sends it directly, which is both simpler and more honest.

There is no phone line, no live chat and no support desk. This is a small site run by the people who built it, not a company with a rota.

Reporting a Wrong Answer

This is the report worth writing carefully, and four things make it possible to fix quickly:

• A link. Every calculator keeps your inputs in the address bar, so copying the URL reproduces your exact calculation on this end. That single step usually saves the whole back-and-forth.
• What the site showed you — the figure as it appeared, not a paraphrase of it.
• What you expected instead, and how you arrived at it.
• Where the expected value comes from, if it is a code or a standard — an edition and a section number, since jurisdictions adopt different editions and two people can both be right about different ones.

Arithmetic errors are treated as urgent and fixed ahead of everything else. Where a report turns out to be a difference between two published standards rather than a mistake, themethodology page is usually updated to say so plainly.

What to Expect

Every message is read. Replies are written by a person rather than generated, which means they are not instant — a few days is normal, and longer is possible. A clear bug report with a link may well be fixed before it is replied to.

Two things this address cannot do. It is not a homework service, so a photograph of a worksheet will not come back with answers filled in — though a question about how a formula works is genuinely welcome, and the slope formula page exists for exactly that. And it is not a design review: whether your particular ramp, roof or drain run complies is a question for the authority that will inspect it and a professional qualified in your jurisdiction, as theterms set out.

Embedding, Licensing and Links

You do not need to write for permission to use anything here. The calculators are free for any purpose including commercial work, the embeddable version needs one line of HTML and no attribution, and linking to any page is always fine. Write only if something is unclear or if what you have in mind goes beyond that.

What Happens to Your Message

It sits in a mailbox and is used to answer you and to fix what you reported. It is not added to a mailing list, not passed to anyone, and not used for anything else. Please leave out anything you would not want in an email — mail is not a secure channel, and no calculation on this site ever needs personal detail to be reproduced.
